Day 1 from the Summit…

Well the day started off with rain, so much that the BMX track was closed this morning. That did not keep the boys from participating in some games to pass the time. The favorite was “foot down” a game in which the winner is the last person to put a foot on the ground from their bicycle. 

The skate park was a hit with pretty much everyone including adults. The boys were trained first and then categorized by thier ability. Several of the boys went back and skated during free time this evening and a few went out mountain biking, including me.

The boys hike to each activity which can be up to 45 minutes of walking on elevated terrain so many are already in bed.  A few are playing cards as I right this post.

This place is amazing and is true gift to scouting.
